Shotgun Campout this weekend

Hello All, We will be meeting at the parking lot at camp Yocona at 8:00 am on Saturday April 13th, 2024. This will give us enough time to get their gear to the campsite and to shooting sports for registration. We will be staying at Boyce campsite on Camp. Scouts will need to be fed breakfast before they get there. All the scouts need this weekend is a sleeping bag, clothes (weather appropriate), sunscreen, a hat with a bill on it, and a great attitude. Scouts sleeping in the cabins will not get nights under the stars counted as camping nights for them, if they want they can bring their own tent or hammock and sleep there and then they will have nights counted towards their camping. Lunch Saturday will be hamburgers, chips and drinks. We will have pizza Saturday night and a cold breakfast Sunday Morning. Pick up will be around 1 pm Sunday as we will need to get everyone through the shotgun qualification for the merit badge.
If your scout needs a ride out to camp, reply to this email and we will arrange the ride. Mr. Paul has graciously offered his Van and driving services.
