Next weeks meeting

Hey everyone, We forgot to mention this to the scouts tonight in all the fun games out there visiting scouts from pack 4. Next weeks meeting the boys will need their backpacking gear. Everyone needs to bring it. They will need Backpack Sleeping bag Sleeping mat 1 short sleeve t shirt 1 long sleeve t shirt 1 sweatshirt 3 pairs wool socks 1 pairs long hiking pants (no jeans and no sweat pants) (Clothes need to go in a thick trash bag or waterproof bag) Water bottle Hat to keep sun out of eyes Sunglasses Sunscreen Personal first aid kit Whistle Lighter (only if they have their firem chit) Pocket knife (only if they have their totem chit) Rain coat and pants (no ponchos) Flashlight or head lamp with extra batteries Compass
Scouts may bring other things they may think they need for a camping trip as well.
No cotton or r denim clothing. Cotton kills in the wilderness.
