Hello all, Tomorrow Chicksa District is hosting a thanksgiving meal give away from 10-12. Scouts are needed to help anywhere from 8:30 to 12:00pm at the Springfield life center in Abbeville.
Please be in Class A uniform. Green pants shirt neckerchief.

Chicksa District Roundtable is Thursday, November 16th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Oxford Church of Christ. Each unit should have at least 1 representative present.
Winter Camp registration is still open until Wednesday, November 15th. Scouts BSA interested in attending Winter Camp @ Camp Seminole need to get registered immediately!
Thanksgiving is approaching. Now is your chance to give back to those in need. Join us on Saturday, November 18th from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Abbeville to help hand out 100 free Turkey breasts, Dressing, and Canned Vegetables to needy families.

Hi again. I forgot that we need to send a reminder to the boys to complete #7 of the MB requirements, which includes TWO assignments. (1) Visit the website of the US State Department. Learn more about an issue of interest to you that is discussed on this website. (2) Visit the website of an international news organization or foreign government, or examine a foreign newspaper. Find a story about a human right recognized in the US that is not recognized in another country. TKS.

This Saturday from 830am-12pm at the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Abbyville, MS there will be a Thanksgiving food handout. Scouts need to be in Class A uniform.

The Chicksa District of Natchez Trace Council BSA is doing a Turkey and food giveaway for needy families on this coming Saturday. We are short enough canned peas, green beans, and cranberry sauce to complete the bags. We need enough canned food to fill 22 more bags worth of dinners. These are needed items, but other things will be welcomed as well that could go with a Thanksgiving meal. Please bring these items to the meeting tomorrow night.
