Hello all, I hope this finds you well. For those attending the merit badge college. We will be meeting tomorrow morning, at 8:00am in the parking lot at Bishop Hall near the chapel. We will be registering as a troop tomorrow so be on the look out for Mr Jamie, Mr David, or myself and we will get you what you need. Pick up will be at 5pm in the same parking lot. Hello everyone, I hope this email finds you well. This email is regarding the 2026 high adventure trip to summit Bescell Scout Reserve. This high adventure trip will be in West Virginia and include white water rafting, climbing, shooting sports and more. The minimum age for this trip is 13 years of age on the day we show up. We will be going on this trek in the summer of 2026. Cost will be around 1400-1600$ depending on our travel arrangements. Please reply if your scout is interested.

Dear Scouts, I am having a work day for my Eagle Project this Saturday from 1-3pm. We will be out at Camp Lake Stephens doing some trail work. If you would like to come out and help, please email me so I know how many helpers will be there. Bring work gloves, a rake, and a water bottle, and be prepared for cancellation due to rain. Hello all, This is a reminder for everyone about this weekends events. Northern tier scouts arrive at Toby tubby campground at 6:30 pm on Friday. They will have chili for dinner so don’t worry about feeding them. Make sure you bring your mess kit, water bottle, day pack and 10 essential items (found in your book). For the rest of the troop show up Saturday morning at 9am for a day of scout activities. Bring your mess kit, 10 scout essentials, water bottle with water, and day pack, also pack a lunch. Hello all, just a reminder we will be meeting tonight at 6:30. Class a uniform. We will have left over chili for the scouts for dinner. Also for our vegetarians we will have a vegetable trey for them. If your scout does not like or want one of these options they can bring their own dinner with them.
Lastly, I left off two people who made Scout Sunday possible. Mary Haskell who was in the kitchen helping lead the boys with Marty and Steve, and Jamie Copelin who oversaw the cooking of the cobblers. Thank you all.

Hi Everyone,
The AOL Crossover Ceremony is Feb. 15 at 7:30 pm, with dinner beforehand at 5:30 pm. It will be at the National Guard Armory (ceremony outdoors unless raining). We will be sharing details with our Pack 4 families later today, but wanted to loop you all in. I am sharing a flyer so you can see the schedule. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, feel free to pass along the information as needed.

*Troop 45 celebrates Scout Sunday on February 2!*
Here’s the scoop…
*What:* Scout Sunday is celebrated annually near the anniversary of the founding of Boy Scouts in the US. *When:* February 2, 2025 Drop off at 10:00am Pick up just after 1:00pm *Where:* First Presbyterian Church; Scouts report to the basement Scoutroom *Who:* Troop 45!! *Why: *First Presbyterian Church holds Troop 45’s charter. In order for a Troop to exist it must partner with a civic organization to be its sponsor. Without FPC’s partnership, T45 would not be here! In addition, FPC offers us room to hold mtgs and store stuff. Occasionally, we get to use the Church van. So on Scout Sunday we want to say THANKS!
*Other important info:*
– The Troop will be attending the 11:00am worship service and afterward serving the congregation chili and fixin’s in the Fellowship Hall. – Scouts should be at the church at 10:00am (Scoutroom basement). We’ll assemble outside of the sanctuary at 10:45am to process in and sit all together in a reserved seating area. – Scouts will be cut loose as soon as we clean up after the lunch ~1:00pm or a little after. – Scouts will receive 2 service hours credit. – Scouts will also receive their new T45 kerchiefs! and a BSA Scout Sunday patch! (this is postponed as they will now be in the following week) – Scouts should wear FULL class A’s: kaki shirt, green pants, belt, kerchief and slide.
We’ll be making duty assignments (some Scouts may be asked to come earlier than 10:00am) at this Monday’s meeting, so would you please let your Scout know if he’ll be able to participate?
We know it is asking a lot to interrupt normal Sunday routines, but we feel this is an important message to send to our Chartering Organization. Plus, “a Scout is Courteous” and “a Scout is Reverent.” We’d also love to have a Scout’s family join the worship service and the lunch afterwards.
