Swim Test Make Up Day and Summer Camp Parents Meeting
Good afternoon again Parents and Leaders,
I wanted to share details on two important upcoming dates:
*• Swim Test Make-Up Day* For Scouts who were unable to complete their swim checks last week due to the thunderstorm, we have scheduled a make-up session at *6:00 PM next Tuesday, May 12th*, at the Oxford Swim Club. While it’s ideal for all Scouts to complete the swim check (it remains valid for one year for water activities), it is especially important for those attending the Canoe Trip or Summer Camp.
*• Summer Camp Parent Meeting* For families who have committed to Summer Camp at Camp Yocona (June 7–13), as well as those who may still be considering attending, we will hold a parent meeting *next Monday at 7:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church*, overlapping with the last 30 minutes of the troop meeting. This timing allows you to attend at the conclusion of the meeting and depart with your Scout afterward.
