Camporee at Puskus Lake

We are going to Puskus Lake for a district camporee this weekend. We will be leaving from the church parking lot at 5:00PM sharp. If you were not at this week’s meeting and you are planning to go on the campout, let Mr. Bill know.
Merit Badge Day 2007

Next Saturday is Merit Badge Day.
Meet in parking lot between 1st Presbyterian and OUU Methodist (usual meeting place) at 6:30 am.
Bring:
1. Parent permission form.
2. Class A uniform.
3. $12, which includes registration fee and lunch.
Back in Oxford about 6 pm.
If you were at the meeting Tuesday, bring your signed permission form back. If not, get one signed Tuesday night or take it home then to bring Saturday.
See you Saturday. You are a great troop!

Scoutbase 2006

We are going to Scoutbase October 20-22. Download this Scoutbase 2006 Permission Slip, fill it out, and bring it to the meeting if you want to go. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity! It only comes along once every 2 years. Scoutbase has been described by Scouting magazine as “a jamboree-like experience”.

Tuesday, August 8, 2006 – First regular meeting of the year
August 11 – 13, 2006 – Summer Float Trip
We are planning a summer float trip for all qualified scouts the weekend of August 11 – 13. More details will be given at the family cookout on August 5.
A qualified scout is one who can pass the swimmer’s test. If the scout has had no prior canoeing experience, he will be given a short training course on site.
